In October 2024, the INA KESS Animal Foundation found a new home for Clara, Peggy, and Erwin, the three once-abandoned cats. Now, they look ahead to a bright future shared with a variety of other animals on a farm nestled close to the INA KESS Atelier. Surrounded by open fields and the warmth of a welcoming sanctuary, these resilient felines can finally enjoy the comfort and care they deserve.
Background
In the serene Swiss countryside, a hidden world of wild cats thrives, moving from farm to farm in search of shelter. Unlike house cats, these felines are untamed and wary of people, living fiercely independent lives without human care. Sadly, many are reluctant to provide them with treatments like castration or vaccinations, leaving the cats vulnerable to illness and unchecked population growth.
Clara, Peggy and Erwin.
A local vet has reached out, urgently seeking help to find a home for three of these wild cats. Without names or a place to belong, they’ve now been given a bit of identity: Clara, the wise one; Peggy, the skeptical; and Erwin, who has a soft spot for food. Though initially deemed untamable, it didn’t take long for these spirited felines to begin trusting their caretakers, showing signs of taming little by little.
With the support of the INA KESS Animal Foundation, the farm has stepped in to offer these cats the essentials they have always lacked—food, shelter, and, above all, love. Now, Clara, Peggy, and Erwin have a chance to leave behind their life of wandering and find comfort in a place that welcomes them.
